Completion requirements
This is an online program, meaning you will access all the materials through this online facility.
Through this process you will work through a series of topics designed to ensure you have the knowledge and skills to effectively supervise Higher Degree Research (HDR) students.
The following provides a quick start guide to working effectively with the various online activities and tasks.

Activities
In each topic you will complete activities designed to develop your research supervisory skills and confirm that you have undertaken those activities.
The typical activities (with its associated icon) are:
- Confirm your understanding of the documents or resources specified, as they are designed to help you work effectively within the unit and learning modules.
- Review the specified resources to ensure you understand the requirements for the unit or module.
- Critique, read and analyse the specified readings and synthesise the findings within your own context.
- Watch the presentation or video which provides additional materials for the module or topic.
- Investigate and clarify the requirements for the topic activities.
- Reflect on the connections you are making between the readings and your own supervisory context.
- Document important learning outcomes and new knowledge in your journal for inclusion in your Supervisor.
